Food Systems

Home Work Food Systems

At hua foundation, we believe that food security encompasses culturally appropriate, healthy, and local fare that builds economic equity for local food growers, producers, and sellers.

Our ongoing food systems work, like our other work at hua foundation, lives and grows at the intersection of cultural heritage and social change.

Our food systems portfolio includes an annual Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, published community resources like our 2019 Dried Goods Guide and other ethnocultural food guides, and community based research projects like our award-winning Vancouver Chinatown Food Security Report.
